About
Self: I’m a chemistry major at Rice University and a transplanted Ohioan sweating it out in sweltering Houston.
Snippid: According to Hobbes of Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes, “snippid” is the word for the smell of wet leaves. It makes one wonder why there are not more words for smells. I imagine it’s because the variety of smells is so vast that trying to name every particular smell would be overwhelming. In the meantime, snippid is a word that I think everyone should add to their vocabulary.
